I just got the printer's proofs for volume 2 and 3! I'm doing this round of books through the print shop at Columbia, and it's already been a more educational, cost effective, and personal process. They look pretty good, just a few minor things I need to clean up, but I should have them ready for printing in the very near future, which means they'll be available for you to get your hands on in a slightly less near but still kinda near future.

Hey everyone, I'm going to be away for the next couple days, so I won't be updating until Sunday night probably. Have a good weekend. If you miss me that much you can always follow the twitter - I'll be updating that if I happen to have a witty thought I think you'd enjoy. Or you can always call, you know, remember phones?

The one or two extras from the run of prints I did today just may be given away in the near future! Stay tuned.
Also, if you're in the Columbia area, pick up a copy of this semester's ECHO magazine, I have a piece in it for an article about lightbulbs.
and, if you happen to see the poster for the 2011 Political Cartoon Contest - I designed it! The cartoon on the poster is by Joyce Rice, on of last year's winners in the single panel category. I was an honorable mention in the multiple panel category with the Tiger Woods cartoon (if you happen to have seen it on my Flickr).

Here's today's comic, hope you enjoy it! Also, I just started a twitter today. I'm finally subscribing to another digital soapbox from which I can voice my every pointless thought. I feel a strange sense of disgust in myself - but nothing a good night's sleep won't cure. From now on I'll be posting updates about the comic on the twitter, so follow me "@knittedsweater," because I guess that's what were supposed to do these days.

Here's a sample of the story I'm working on for the second issue of LINEWORK, the Columbia College anthology of comics that I'm currently co-editing. It's going to be two pages, and it's a bit different than my usual fully autobiographical work. I'm happy with how the inks turned out, but I haven't shown it to many people yet, so I'm eager to see how it ends up. So far I've finished coloring the first page. I'll also be illustrating the back cover of the anthology. Keep an eye out for it hopefully sometime in May.
Also, I just noticed and fixed the "it's"...
